Almost 2 months ago, the Pitt News, the student newspaper at the University of Pittsburgh, published an article about President Trump's March 28 executive order, which temporary suspended multiple climate laws. Although this was an opinion article, we think it brings up a very good point.

And this point President Trump has already done a great deal in rolling back environmental regulation - voiding the Clean Air Act, threatening to pull out of the Paris Climate agreement, etc. But to insult home grown environmentalism, in late April Trump signed an executive order asking the Department of Interior to review 27 monuments, all over 100,000 acres and created after 1996. Should any of these monuments having their status as public lands revoked, the lands will be opened to private mining, logging, and energy interests.
